Vienna’s English Theatre at HAK Frauenkirchen
The Vienna’s English Theatre Group had chosen this catchy slogan for their performance of “Romy and Julian”. The play successfully combined elements of Shakespeare’s famous “Romeo and Juliet” with contemporary issues. The pupils saw the story of two teenagers looking for values and beliefs, for ways of self expression. They tried hard to find a common ground for their love despite differing views, fashions and styles. We enjoyed a funny, exciting and entertaining play. Luckily the end was much less tragic than Shakespeare’s original. – All’s well that ends well!
