The dangers of social media, of posting, blogging and live streaming were the serious topic of a stunning performance of Vienna's English Theatre at our gym. The play "Web of Lies" demonstrates impressively which dangerous consequences careless postings can have, how fast a person's online presence can get out of hand and how easy it is to create a fake identity in order to pursue evil goals. 15-year-old Lena Dean dreams of a career as a singer and decides to meet a talent scout who has got in touch with her after seeing her perform a song on the internet. However, the person is not who he pretends to be, and Lena only narrowly escapes him, thus becoming aware of the mistakes she and her best friend Charlie have made.
